Giada is the founder of AFLOW architecture and a certified ICF coach.

Born in Italy, Giada pursued her studies in Genoa, Paris, and London. She then worked in London and Lausanne, holding leadership positions in architectural teams and collaborating with professionals around the world. After years of personal development studies, she decided to become a certified coach, completing her training in 2021.
She has been living and working in Switzerland since 2011 and is fluent in English, French, and Italian.

With over 18 years of experience in the international architecture industry, Giada has developed a profound understanding of the challenges that arise in complex working environments, particularly in the creative professional world.
Having spent many years grappling with unrealistic deadlines and struggling to balance her professional and personal life, Giada, like many professionals, found herself caught up in the daily grind. Over time, she lost sight of her purpose and began questioning her career.

Today, thanks in part to coaching, Giada views that experience as a transformative revelation—an opportunity to reflect on both herself and the professional world. This process empowered her to take control of her career and life. It also provided her with the insight to recognize common organizational pitfalls that not only affect efficiency and work quality but, more importantly, the well-being of a team.

Giada now guides professionals—particularly those in creative fields—toward the life they truly desire, helping them see that such a life is not only possible but achievable.
By leveraging her dual expertise as both a coach and an architect, she offers her clients the opportunity to rediscover their passion for their professional lives, leading them toward a fulfilling personal and professional balance.

As a coach, Giada brings specific techniques from her profession, along with guidance, empathy, and trust. As an architect, her creativity, management skills, and vision allow her to turn challenges into opportunities, translating theory into actionable steps to achieve her clients' goals.

In 2023, she began collaborating as an Associate Coach with BetterUp.

WHY AFLOW COACHING-LAB ?

I am deeply aware of the entrenched, often harmful culture that pervades industries, from universities to offices of all scales, where individuals are expected to conform in order to advance in their careers. This mindset contradicts the values that should underpin any profession, particularly creative ones. While I don't expect to change these deeply rooted systems overnight, I believe that supporting individuals is a crucial first step toward cultural transformation. This is the mission of AFLOW Coaching-Lab and my contribution toward fostering a healthier professional environment.

Beyond my technical and professional expertise, the inspiration to create AFLOW Coaching-Lab comes from my own personal journey—an experience many creative professionals worldwide can undoubtedly relate to.

In our fast-paced world, we often find ourselves chasing higher goals, racing to move faster. It’s never enough, and we’re left feeling we’re never enough. We seek validation, to “fit in,” and to be accepted.
The result? In our efforts to adapt and change to meet these external expectations, we first lose sight of ourselves and, eventually, forget who we truly are.
What we fail to realize is that:
-
We lie to ourselves, convincing ourselves to believe in something we don’t truly hold.
-
We lie to others, presenting a version of ourselves that isn’t authentic. We end up playing a role.
Why do we believe it’s so impossible to live a fulfilling (professional and personal) life? Why do we think we can’t change? Why do we assume there’s only one way—the one we’ve been told to follow—to do things?

My goal is to help my peers recognise that achieving their own goals and transforming their lives is not just for others, nor is it a matter of luck. It’s about motivation, confidence, and vision—qualities inherent to creative professionals, but often overshadowed over time.

I guide my clients in rediscovering these qualities and help them design a life they feel in control of—whether professionally, personally, or both.
